Our partner law firm

When things get legal, a law firm takes over.

For legal review and enforcement, we work with the law firm Huth Dietrich Hahn (HDH) in Hamburg. The roles are clearly separated: Refix finds reviews, on a purely technical basis and according to your criteria. You decide what goes to HDH. Whether the specialist attorneys step in, and how, is their decision alone, under their own engagement.

The attorneys who advise and represent you.

At HDH, specialist attorneys work with you: they assess each individual case to determine whether a review is actually non-compliant, and they enforce well-founded claims, all the way to litigation.

Important note on how we work together

Refix provides technical services only, identifying reviews on the basis of purely technical criteria. Refix does not provide legal services and does not make any legal assessment of individual reviews, either as to their lawfulness or as to the prospects of a challenge. Whether action is taken against a review, and by what means, is assessed and decided solely by the attorneys at HDH, under an independent engagement agreement concluded directly between you and HDH. HDH acts on its own responsibility and is not an agent of Refix.

Important notes

  1. For all legal services, you enter into an engagement agreement directly with HDH. The firm acts solely on the basis of the power of attorney you grant.

We bill our technical services (identification, preparation, and handoff to HDH, including ongoing monitoring to catch removed reviews that reappear) per review processed, with pricing tiered by volume. HDH's success fee (Section 4a RVG, the German Attorneys' Fees Act) is due only if a review is actually removed, and it is included in the price. If a processed review is not removed, we waive the charge for our technical services. The bottom line: you only pay for reviews that were actually removed. The details are set out in your agreement with Refix and in your engagement agreement with HDH.

Whether a given review constitutes a legal violation is assessed by HDH on a case-by-case basis. Legal outcomes depend on the individual case and cannot be guaranteed.
